Tutoring (Volunteer work)!
From today I am going to do a volunteer work as a private tutor of 12 year-old boy from the Japanese School of Moscow. I will be teaching him English – beginner level, based on the textbook that I have. We
will focus on the preparation for the STEP Test, which he will take on the coming
January. The lesson will be one hour long in his house, every Tuesday.
Learning outcomes planning to achieve:
- Increase awareness of your strengths and areas for growth
- Undertake new challenges
- Planned and initiated activities
- Worked collaboratively with others
- Developed new skills
- Shown perseverance and commitment in their activities
- Engaged with issues of global importance
This is a new challenge and so it can sometimes be difficult but you are doing a positive thing to help someone else. I'm sure if you show perseverance you will develop your skills.
